Tamarind takes its name from the pod of an Asian evergreen tree with pale yellow flowers, containing small seeds embedded in a juicy edible pulp used to enhance the taste of food and beverages.

I have eaten in Tamarind on numerous occasions and have always found the experience to be a pleasant one. The staff are very friendly and efficent and as I am a coeliac, I especially love the fact that they have a seperate Gluten Free menu available. The staff are aware of all dietry requirements, unlike some other restaurants, which makes ordering even easier. The food is amazing and the portions are good for the price also.
